UDS top not a circle
Well, it's a bit out of round. I wonder if I squeeze it if I can get it to hold shape?
Anyone else had this problem?

The top lip of the barrel or the lid, I had both were i had to get pliers and bind the lip out on some sides and I used a brick on the ground and placed my lid center with the brick and pushed down on the sides. That worked for me now it closes down properly to preserve coal.

if it is the top of the barrel that is out of round I used a small piece of cable and wrapped it around the top and used a small turnbuckle like thing to tighten it down and it pulled it back to a round shape.

Just lay it on it's side and gently push on a soft surface. I check every one I assemble for roundness and it's a common problem. It will affect temp. variences and should be round. Steve.
