Default Need some clarification

The technique for cooking the country style ribs in this video isn't bbq. I think it's referred to as brazing. Can some one confirm? Just so you know, these guys boil their racks of ribs.

First - LIGHTER FLUID!?!? You are FIRED!

Second - Did he set up the grill for indirect and them put the pan on them? what was the purpose of that?

Results looked good. I used to boil, I used to lighter fluid. After being saved by the Brethren site, I cook'em low and slow, I always chimney and I notice faster up and running times, no fluid taste, and not boiling makes the ribs taste sooo much better.

I think we trashed this video a few months ago. They were definitely braised. Hell, he was making stew!
