Default Royal Oak hickory or mesquite? $3 / 16.6lb

Any comments on if this is quality coal?
Menards has it on sale with rebate, at $2.99 / 16.6lb.
I have plenty to do to the house I am fine with the rebate concept.

Thanks!

I bought a few bags awhile back.
Mind you, I am a Royal Oak Chef's Select guy, so my comments are in comparison.
The briqs are a little small for my liking, and it has a harsher smell than the ROCS. It seems to burn OK.
At $0.18 per pound though, it's worth getting.

It's been $4.98 for a while, but now there's a rebate?! I'll have to swing by and pick some up. I've been using the green back of RO for a while now and I like it.

Looks like limit 4 on the rebate, but still a deal.
