Found the site while crusing for info on Yoder smokers that my wonderful wife got me for Christmas. A significant step up from my old Brinkmann. Looking foward to learning and sharing some tips and tricks. I hunt and fish quite a bit and would love to learn some new ideas for delicious meals.

Welcome, neighbor to the North!

Yoder makes a fine cooker - any resemblance to a Brinkmann is purely accidental. ;)

I travel through Chatt. often on the way to cookoffs in middle Tenn. The Winchester event is coming up early in the year, and Yoder's star players, Lotta Bull BBQ usually cook that event. You might consider checking it out and talking with my friend Mike Davis. He's not just a champion cook, but also a fine fellow and happy to chat with Yoder owners.

Welcome bbdown. As a former Cleveland, TN resident, I found this place looking for the best way to grill some trout I caught at Tellico. Keep an eye on Cooke's grocery in Cleveland. They have incredible meat sales 3 or 4 times a year. Well worth the short drive.

There are several other KCBS contests held within a 2 hour drive of Chattanooga. Come out and see how crazy people spend their weekends!
