Yes, Please, Marty!

Double-X Hot!? Holy moly....

I'm a big fan of their garlic sauce (when I can find it).

Marc,
Since they are on sale I had to pick up 4 more XX this morning.
I guess my old taste buds have been numbed up over the years.

Great looking chicken! I had never heard of Peri Peri chicken and your cook got me curious. I was at Publix picking up some fried chicken for dinner tonight so I picked up 2 bottles of the Nando's XX Hot to try as dipping sauce. I thought the sauce was pretty good. It was like hot sauce with citrus taste. Wife thought it was decent but lacking heat. My daughter also said it tasted too mild. It's strange because I thought it had good enough heat.

Some mighty fine looking chicken. The thigh is one of my favorite pieces of chicken. I think I will try the oak wood cook in my Trail Embers Smoker. I have always the taste of food cooked over a wood fire. Thanks for posting. I always enjoys your posts.
