Default How many chicken halves can fit on a Lang 84

Can any caterers out there give me a confirmed documented count on how many chicken halves will fit on a Lang 84? Excluding placing them on the thermal nuclear area just above firebox. I need to cook 110 halves next weekend and would like to know if I can fit them all on.

If you were able to fit 60 quarters per shelf, it's hard to imagine you could fit 55 halves per shelf

I keep notes but for some reason do not have this in my notes. Thanks for finding this. I'm with you that maybe 35-40 halves per rack will fit but if someone has done it and can verify how many for sure that would be great. I'll figure on cooking two runs though for now.

Just in case anyone else is wondering, I can confirm you can fit 94 chicken halves (1.4-1.5lb average weight) on a Lang 84 without using the nuclear zone above firebox.

I wanted and planned to take a few pic's however I'd catered two wedding rehearsal dinners the night before and we catered three weddings that day and it was all we could do to keep up with doing what needed to be done and as simple as it seems taking the time to stop for a few pic's was not a option. Next time hopefully and yes it's in my notes now!
