Turn in pictures

Here's a link to a survey of pictures of actual dishes as they were turned in a the American Royal Open and othe KCBS sanctioned contests. Unfortunately, the were scored using the old system. (9 and down)

The comment links don't seem to work anymore, but the survey results do. (the results for chicken #1 doesn't work either)

Very interesting to see how the survey participants scored them compared to the real judges.

Interesting, but not very useful. Many of the survey participants were real judges. What is incredibly useful are the presentation ideas that can be gleaned from the pictures.

As recently discussed elsewhere in this forum, smokering is not to be considered. However, to me, that is where the flavor is and that ain't gonna taste any better than it looks.
