Prepping for comp season...

Been busy the last few days getting ready for the season. About to get into it full swing. Any one else???

Yeah, yeah...I know...you're still on cloud 9 from last weekends contest...and rightfully should be!!!

As far as what I got here...hopefully, the secret ingredient to a few 1st place trophy's!!! But specifically, a little Pork & Chicken Rub, a little Beef Rub, Comp Sauce #1 and #2, a little Eastern Carolina, a little Piedmont style East Meats West Carolina and a little Spicy Apple Glaze.


As far as the military precision of the formation, almost 20 years in, I think it's become a permanent way of life...just ask Kim and Hannah, Gavin is still to young to understand!!!

The way I see it...one less thing to worry about at the comp. Which means I can actually concentrate on cooking the meat properly! The most important aspect in my opinion!
