Default Bone in strip steak with chimichurry and veggies.

Hey all,

I have been gone for a while, yet another all expenses paid vacation through beautiful SW Asia...

Anyhow, I am back and thought I would share a little (and try to get into the throwdown).

Found some bone in strip steaks on sale and decided to do them with some veggies and chimichurry sauce.

Ingredients for the chimichurry: There are about a million recipes for this, but this is how the wife likes it.

-1 Bunch Parsley
-1 Bunch Cilantro
-1 Yellow Onion
-5 cloves of garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
About a cup of olive oil

Dump the onions and garlic out or they get too chopped up.

Finish with olive oil and let it sit for an hour or more:

For veggies we did baby carrots, onion, and white sweet potato.

On to a cookie sheet with olive oil, black pepper, and some Mrs. Dash

The meat!

On the cold side for a reverse sear.

Finished product.

Over all, not too bad, the chimichurry was a hit with the kids and the mother in law.

Thanks for lookin!
