Default New Black Pepper Products

I was at the store today restocking some spices, and what do I spy with my big 'ol eye? Two new black pepper products from McCormick.

Smokehouse Ground Black Pepper
Worcestershire Ground Black Pepper Blend

I haven't tried these yet, but they look pretty intriguing. However, pre-ground pepper is usually a no-go for me, so they'd better be good.

Just sharing,
John

Havent tried those yet (will soon), but I have been using these as of late.

I've mainly been using them in rubs. Not much on the solo season.

I wish they would put a born on date on spices like that. When they are fresh they are hard to beat.

Ground spices are good for about 6 months. I buy smaller containers of spices, not the giant bottles from BJs or Sams club, and I write the date on the lid with a sharpie. I throw them out when they get too old. But my main spices never seem to get too old because they used fast enough.
