Default Best baby backs I’ve ever made cook

Great day to smoke some ribs. I’m usually a St. Louis spare rib guy but they were priced high and the same price as the organic baby back ribs at wegmans. I look for quality meat at a respectable price, not necessarily the cheapest. Organic is an afterthought, but they looked like really good cuts so I took a shot. Best baby back ribs I’ve ever had. Alot of baby backs I see are cut way too thick and have way too much loin meat. These were cut to perfection and the results showed it!

No wrap just 250 on the assassin until they were close to passing the bent test then sauced and thrown back on for 30 min

Nice looking ribs. Totally agree regarding to much loin meat on most BB ribs. hard not to dry it out.

Yessir! I tend toward spares as well, but whenever I cook babybacks I always go "these farkin things are pretty good - I should do this more." Kinda like eating apples.

Nicely done - those look great.

Nicely done!

I did baby backs last weekend (because Costco was out of spares). They turned out great!
