![]() Went out to the freezer in the garage to get some ribs out and noticed the freezer bag with 1/2 a pork loin in it had came open. I have no idea how long it has been open but the meat on the open end was whiter and drier looking, I am thinking I should toss it but thought I would check with the Brethren. Thanks,

![]() Freezer burn. It's still safe to eat but it will be dry and the texture will suffer as well. Sounds like stew!

![]() This, for sure. The freezer burn is just where the meat has been dehydrated. Trim it off. The rest of the meat will suffer no flavor loss.

![]() I've used freezer burned trimmings in chili and stews, never tastes a difference.
