It looks like this is the last KCBS competition of the season. This event will also include a 4 Category Backyard Cookoff, Best Booth (Holiday/Christmas Themes) and Friday night Anything Butt & Bean Blast.

Hopefully we'll get to see some of the teams that are in the KCBS TOY race out here.

Any other Brethren planning on joining us here in sunny, 70+ degree Arizona?

Of course you count Wes, it's all the loyal Local teams that we cater to when putting on these events, if we didn't have the support of our local BBQ family, we would never have started putting these on in the first place.

National Teams coming are a nice perk, but it's the Local teams that are the Heart & Soul of these events, don't ever forget that Wes...

Yea Man the local teams is what makes the thing happen
A Zip Code Trophy may work on this one
Unlike Palm Desert where it is me against Kyle every time

I will be heading over to this cook off

Lifted this from Ray's website

Right now we are sitting at 17 Paid teams and I have heard from at least 8 - 10 more who say their registration is in the mail.
That puts us at about 25 - 30.
I am anticipating between 30 - 40 teams. I'm fairly certain we will hit that.
Hope to see lots of teams out here for this event, it's shaping up to be a great one.
Besides, the weather in AZ is great this time of year..

Backyarders are not typically included in the headcount of competitors by Mike. At least in my whopping 5 events of experience.
