Served with mashed taters. Both were good but veal was the clear winner.

Then came Friday. Hadn't been at the cabin in over a month easy. Took the day off from work and headed up. Had a little bit of work up there so I wanted to do something easy;

A surf and turf burger starting with shrimp

Come Saturday my folks called me up. My uncle happened to be visiting them so I said why don't you all come up??? Of course they did. Told them to pick up a few things on their way up :becky:

Hopefully everyone had a great weekend. Thanks for looking!

This post makes me happy. What a wonderful weekend you must have had. Great food and some good quality time with the folks and uncle. That's what it's all about

With your cooking skills there is no roughing it, is there? Very well done.

PS - your burger ideas/cooks are going to be the death of me. Oh well, at least I'll die happy.

There was certainly no "roughing it" at that cabin. Everything looked amazing and happy to see that you all had a great time.

I see a whole lot of goodness in here, nice cooking brother!

I haven't seen one of your cooks in a while, Sako - so it was great to see you return in top form, as always! :thumb:

Great looking cooks Sako, thinking real hard about picking up a 26", 90% of my cooks are on the 22".

Looks great. I’m gonna give that burger a go!

That all looks fantastic and yeah sure is hard to beat some good ole Gorge Straits toons.

Sako, you da man! With that kind of food I would have visited too, and I'm on the other side of the country.
