Default Battery recommendations for Guru

I know alot of people are going t chime in on the duracel power packs but when I look on amazon, the reviews of them are total garbage. Not sure if I should spend the money for a deep cycle battery or something else. atleast with a deep cycle, power wouldnt be an issue and you could run lights or a stereo

Try Advance Auto Parts. They carry the Schumacher battery packs that should run a Guru with no problem.

I have been using the Diehard 1100 from Sears for 3 years now with no problems.

I’ve used this for my guru. Charge it prior to your event and it will last forever.

I use a Black and Decker, it's got the cigarette light plug to run the guru. Has teh a/c converter, lights, tire inflator and jumper cables.

You can run the guru on the a/c converter, but the battery fan sucks up power.

I run two gurus at comps on it, going with a third this year.

I was actually going to call Guru in the morning and ask about this. Are you able to run it for extended cooks on just the battery with no charge? Thinking about getting a deep cycle battery to run at comps that don't provide electricity, just want to make sure that it will be able to run everything all night.
