Tell her after she devours a few. Couple of years ago had a BBQ, neighbors came over, the kids were always really picky eaters. I smoked a goat leg, kids knew I made good que, but kept asking what it was. I just kept saying it was good stuff.

After they stuffed their faces I told them it was goat, they didn't bat an eye and made a few more tacos. Their mom was amazed.

Just tell them it is delicious goodness!

I see them sometimes in Wal-Mart. I would think Bichelmeyer's would have them. They have a lot of variety in their store.

Good to know! There was only one shop I know of that routinely carries cheeks all the time at a decent price (I think they are in Rancho Cordova or the Arden area). I will reach out to Lucky Dog Farms. Thanks!

Mike - also check out (if have not already), Adams Meat Shop on E. Bidwell in Folsom. He regularly carries both beef and pork cheeks. Great place, but bring your credit card and a cooler!

That looks ridiculously delicious, Hog!

I've never seen cheeks offered here.
