When you get down there go to Ryder and rent a truck with a lift gate, Back up the uhaul to the gate at the right height. You will still have to move it from the uhaul, but at least it should not drop and do some damage.

Connect the blue trailer to a truck and back it up to the uhaul. Then get you some pipes to stick under the smoker. Use a comealong fron the trailer to the smoker and suck it out. If Height is a problem then use a couple 2x12's for ramps. 3/4" PVC might be enough to allow the pit to slide on. Steel fence pipe would be best.

We can take it out with a fork lift in Friendswood, then put it on a trailer if you have one.

The answer is obvious to me and may a couple others but they weren't explicit.

Plan A
  1. Call a flat bed tow truck
  2. Winch the meat mamma onto the flatbed
  3. Go to where you want to put momma, tilt the flatbed and lower into place.

Plan B
Accellerate the moving van in reverse and slam on breaks

This would work though.

Well I've only been out of Texas for 11 months and unless things have changed drastically since then or your heading somewhere I've never heard of, there is typically a street corner with all the muscle you can afford.

Being bi lingual is encouraged but not necessary...

You guys are overlooking the easy way.
Just lay the trailer over on its side and slide the smoker out.:)

I can see two things happening. 1) A new YouTube video that sweeps across the internet like wildfire, and 2) Funk winning $10,000 on America's Funniest Home Videos.
