In preparation for Moving my Spicewine I bought a winch for my utility trailer. I have had little luck finding a winch arm that will fit a 2 1/2" tongue. 2" and 3" seem to be the standard. I did a real Rube Goldberg out of 2x4s but frankly it is scary the way it flexes. Anyone know a good online source for post arms that may stock 2 1/2" or some type of adapter kit? Google is no help so far, so I am hoping some of you boaters may be able to help.

Found this one.....said it fit tubing 2-3" wide and up to 3" tall.

Thanks that looks like it will do the trick. I will probably have to drill holes in the bottom plate or buy a new one, but it looks like it will work>

You could take a couple of pieces of 1/2 - 3/4" plate, cut one just wider than the tongue, the other two a little longer than the tongue, weld them in a "C" shape, and drill two holes in the bottom to secure. Any metal supplier should cut them for you at little charge and then just weld your post on the top.

THIS IS Cheap Cheap LOL

go electric. Someone bought this for me as a joke... after 2 years it STILL pulls my 1000 smoker up the ramp and on my Trailer... Both the small trailer and the funkotorium.

Its removable thus out of the elements I guess is why it still works.

Video below of installation and the work. However, that little loopty thing thats included in the picture (the base) can just go around your jack post but I'd bolt it down.
