Chris Lilly's Big Bob Gibson's Smoked Turkey?

Anyone tried the smoked Thanksgiving recipe, or more a technique involving pan and foil, in the BBG BBQ book? Never tried a low-n-slow turkey, but was thinking of trying this one.
