Blackstone Cheesesteak

Man! You made on my favorite sandwiches of all time, and exactly the way I would have. Nicely done!

Very nice. Keeping an eye on the Blackstone prices. If it ever drops to a reasonable price (to me) I'll jump. Then beg forgiveness from the wife!

I did that search for a year. I finally jumped on the Walmart Black Friday deal:
A thought a 36" was too big for my needs. The Walmart deal was a 28" but with three burners instead of two. it was $175. I love it.

Care to share the cheese sauce?

Sure,
1 T Butter
1 T Flour
Make a roux
2 C Whole Milk (Heated)
Add milk and stir until starts to thicken over low heat
4 oz of cream cheese (softened)
Add to milk mixture, stir until melted over low heat
2 C Shredded cheese of choice (I used an Italian Mix)
Add cheese to milk mixture in small handfuls.
Stir until each handful is melted before adding another handful (low heat still)
Add ground black pepper to taste.

Sometimes I add a dash of Worcestershire sauce if I want a little saltiness.
I'll add a dash of hot sauce if I want a little spice.

I use the same sauce on pepper stout beef.

Very nice. I've been meaning to try making cheese steaks on the Blackstone.

Now is the time to buy one. Search local Walmart’s for last years model. I just picked up a 36” pro for $250.
Sandwich looks amazing.
