My sons started cooking for church and charities about a year ago and they are picking up catering opportunities / jobs.

Question - other than Cambros, can you give some recommendations for transporting items like baked beans to keep them warm and from making a mess?

Thanks

We use Cambros for our catering business but have also used a standard cooler. You could use the aluminum half steam pans, cover tightly with plastic wrap and then cover with the aluminum lid and place in a cooler. For added insulation you could put towels on top of the pans on the cooler. This is how we did it when we first started out. No mess and stays hot for hours.

A friend found a couple dozen foam boxes like Omaha Steaks ships in only from a pharma co that shipped frozen things in. 1/2 pans fit perfect and a thin piece of foam board is a great separator so I can stack two deep.
