Some pics of yesterday.

I melted some butter and mixed it with fresh garlic,fresh chives,salt,pepper,smoked paprika powder and worcestershire.
I've put this mixture under the skin of the chicks.

This is bami (bakmi)...but I'll make a "tjauw min" for you!:becky:
The noodles of the chow mein are thinner than the bami noodles (so far as I know)...that makes a difference allready.

Surinam food is formaly consisted from "soul food" and Asian food...think of the sateh,bami and roti posts from me.
Those are standard dishes in the Surinam kitchen.
