Thanksgiving Pop Overs
I wanted to cook something a little different this year for Thanksgiving so I decided I would try my hand at pop overs. I picked up a pop over pan and cooked these up as a trial batch. Here is the recipe.
1 cup AP flour 3 eggs 3/4 tsp salt 1 TBS black pepper 3/4" cheese cubes added to the batter after pouring it in the PO pan 1 cup whole milk, warmed pre-heated, greased popover pan Mix all ingredients together to a pancake batter consistency. Pour into the pop over pan and add the cheese cubes. Bake at 375* about 1 hour or until done These turned out good, but I think they can be improved. Next time perhaps a little more salt and a mild cheddar with a little roasted garlic.

Yeah you can't serve those. I'll be over in a bit with some butter to take them off your hands.

They look incredible, Joe. I'm saving the recipe. Thanks! BTW... you've got "3 eggs" listed twice there. Thanks, again.

With the exception of the cheese, they look and sound alot like yorkshire pudding. They look like they came out about perfect!

Yep, cooking process is similar but much easier to cook, IMO.
