Chicken brined, brushed with mayonaise and a homemade yardbird rub Plowboy, i need help!!)



Only 3# charcoal and 2 chunk's of Pecan.
20 briquete's in the chimney and were off!!



Sweet blue almost immediately!




Wanted to try to run about 325*........this is the best i could do, about 45 min's now!

 
You might as well just maronating it. Tell her I said happy b-day!

Looks great. How was the temp? Did she hold the 335? What vent combo?

325ish.........2 vent's open and 1/4 open on the ball valve.
Held for hour and 45min, chicken at 172 and very good skin, definetly bight thru!!:eek::mrgreen:
 
A little late, but fine looking grub ---- beer ain't bad, either!
 
Good llokin' grub ... Tell the "Birthday Girl" Happy Birthday. Just picked up my "UDS" barrel.
