"Chicken Thighs!"

As chosen by sudsandwine for winning the "Baby Back Ribs" Throwdown.

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ:

Hi guys - trying to think of something that hasn't been done before, how about chicken thighs? Skin on, boneless, cut-up, bone-in, any way you like! As long as you feature chicken thighs in some form.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 6/7 through Monday 6/24.

Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 6/24.

Bill, since 2009, we've had just about all manner of chicken-specific TD categories, including:

Wings
Hot Chicken

Legs/Quarters
Breasts
Boneless/Skinless
Whole Chicken
Asian Chicken Appetizers
Chicken Sammich
Plus, a bunch of open chicken TD's

But not one single chicken thigh TD all these years!

I asked sudsandwine whether he wanted it to be whole/bone in/skin on, or open/general, which is what he went with. This opens the door to many different possibilities.

This will be an interesting TD to watch unfold...
