Hi guys - trying to think of something that hasn't been done before, how about chicken thighs? Skin on, boneless, cut-up, bone-in, any way you like! As long as you feature chicken thighs in some form.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 6/7 through Monday 6/24.

Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 6/24.

Best of luck and even better eats to all!

You're Joking right?

We've never had a Thigh TD before?

Now that's amazing!

Bill, since 2009, we've had just about all manner of chicken-specific TD categories, including:

Wings
Hot Chicken

Legs/Quarters
Breasts
Boneless/Skinless
Whole Chicken
Asian Chicken Appetizers
Chicken Sammich
Plus, a bunch of open chicken TD's

But not one single chicken thigh TD all these years!

I asked sudsandwine whether he wanted it to be whole/bone in/skin on, or open/general, which is what he went with. This opens the door to many different possibilities.

This will be an interesting TD to watch unfold...

And right on cue, .88/lb Tyson thighs at my local Kroger this week!
I can see a lot of chicken thighs in my near future.

This is fantastic. Just cooked thighs yesterday. Love it. No sauce needed. Use last photo. Thanks.

Question - are Blackstone griddles and the lole valid cooking devices for this throwdown?
