Spatchcocked chicken, fresh picked sweet corn and small red taters.

All cooked at 400 degrees and turned out great! :thumb:

Nope, just laid the bird down on the grate.

Ok, thanks. Being a relative noob, I've been wanting to try one using this method, and have heard of folks doing it both ways. Looking at your pictures, I think I'll just let 'er go and see what happens.

Ummm ummm, that looks good!

I noticed you don't remove the silks, is it easier to do so before or after you grill it?

Bull, that looks great! I think thats for dinner...! did you marinate?

I do all my chickens spatchcocked now days, left the husks and silk on the corn.
I also do this in my oven at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes the same way.
The silk seems to stick to the husks, just grab some hot pads and I can clean an ear of corn in about 10-15 seconds.
I did not marinate the chicken, just a simple rub.

Bull if that's on your BGE, I WANT ONE TOO! 400* w/difuser? I likey!

That is what I call d*mn good comfort food there. Nice job Mike, nothing better than fresh picked corn cooked on the grill.
