Breaking news......Prime Rib Cook.....The Finish.......pRon and more pRon!
This is the finish to the following threads.........
http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=168792 And : http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=168885 Well boys and girls, when I last left you all, I had just put a beautiful rib eye roast on the Kettle.......Here's the finish to a great dinner.... One of the sides Another of the sides......corn on the cob, getting repetitious here, but the corn is just soooo good right now: If I remember right, this is at about 2.5 hours in, getting the taters on: Some smokey goodness goin' on here: The sides are finishing up here: I pulled the roast at 129* IT and set aside while the sides finished. Once the sides were ready, I fired up the Smokey Joe, in order to get a crust on the roast: A couple o' cooks helpers along the way: This is the money shot right here........Beautiful! Meaty, Firey goodness! Everything was pretty smokey: A peak at the finished product: This is exactly what I was shooting for...Nice pink medium rare from edge to edge! Plated with Wasabi horseradish and Au Jus: A few bite shots: And one last shot.......Perfect (for me anyway) from edge to edge! This was one of the best Rib Eye roasts I've ever eaten, just wonderful! Th...Th.....Th.....That's all Folks! It's been real fun.............and delicious as well! Thanks for following along! KC
