Default Commercial Kitchens

Our HD wants us to find a commercial kitchen to use for prep'n meat, sauces, etc. I get it, but it is turning out to be pretty hard to find one! How do others locate one (other than google)....

Craigslist might be a place to check. Know any bar/restaurant owners (possibly one that doesn't open unitl Dinner service)? Then beyond that there's churches, community centers, fraternal organizations, etc...Heck, even some day cares have HD approved kitchens.

Many schools here in California qualify as commercial kitchens and are acceptable with the HD. They seem to be eager to rent the kitchen, especially on the weekends.

-The chester one is about 30 minutes and the rest are further. I would have figured there would have been one in the larger towns! I'll keep looking and hold the Chester one in the back of my mind! thanks

+1. Also, K of C, VFW, etc. A lot of these kitchens are way under utilized. Helps if you are of member, too!!
