Talking West Coast Chopper Burger

So last night I decided on cutlets. Prepped the ground beef and ended up with about 20 patties and thought "I can't just fry these in the pan and it'll take me forever."

Whipped out the griddle and on they went with seasoned onions and jalapenos. Then I decided just to make the cutlets into burgers instead.

Slicing the tomatoes I noticed the iron cross and said I'll name this the West Coast Choppers burger

Kept it simple with toasted buns, mayo, mustard and ketchup

Put some cheese on the patty and scraped the crusty cheese that spilled and right back on top.

I used this enameled lid, poured some water around the patty, covered and let it steam and melt the cheese

About 30 seconds or so and this

Time to put it together

This is what she wrote

Made sure everyone was happy happy and daddy gets to make his custom chop top burger with flattened buns. West Coast style

Thanks for looking!

Oh man! You are killing me!!! IMO, a good must have mayo, ketchup, and mustard. Once the ketchup and mustard mix together and mix with the cool moisture from the fresh tomato.........that flavor right there screams BURGER!!! Onions, peppers, and everything else is what brings it all together. I'm really liking that big ole flat top!!

I'd hit a couple of those pretty hard!
