Cooked up some Ribs and made my first attempt of scratch baked beans. Me and JMSetzler have been working on cost effective backed bean in Chat and I took first swag at it. This being my fist attempt at doing baked beans starting with dry beans I screwed up some how. The sauce is on spot... but the beans were hard. I soaked overnight then added them to the sauce, and then to the smoker... after 5 hrs aft 325 still hard :( next time will boil the beans to cook them then to the sauce.

but here is some pron!!

Nice rack of ribs you got going there, good luck with the frijoles!

Thanks! I'll nail those dang frijoles just take another cook or so

O forgot to mention in original post, I cooked these at 325 took a bit under 3hrs to get them done

Awesome pics! especially the pic of the bite through! How long were the ribs on for? any foiling?

David

1.5 hrs no foil, 40 mins foil about 20 unfoiled to set the glaze. whole cook probably took 3 hrs including foil/unfoil time smoker was at 325 most of the cook.

Thanks!
