Oven cleaner works on all that stuff and will not damage the porcelain coating. However, don't get it on the aluminum parts because it will eat the shiny finish off and leave it dull looking.

I bought my second WSM locally, and that was the one that I had trouble with the center section being out of round. Weber shipped another center, that was also oval, the third one was good. Brian

Go to an ACE store and talk to the manager. He might match Amazon's price. Always ask for 10% off any big purchase. You'll be suprised how many places will do it.
