So... What makes you think that these folks may be more discriminating than your family? When I cooked for my daughter's graduation party everyone was raving about the ribs and my wife leaned over to me and said "the ribs are too salty" I thought I was the only one who noticed it.

You'll do fine. They will be extremely impressed with your food because it will be great and it will also be sooo much better than any BBQ they have ever had before.

But... Just in case, good luck!

I'll second what Ron_L said.....The stuff you cook for them will be a revelation for most....the real deal. Don't sweat it. Just try and wrangle yourself some helpers to give yourself a little break.....

Have fun!

Jay for a man of your multi talents who has his own line of rubs?
A small Q? Jay.........get real brother. Its gonna be a cakewalk. Just down belly down in any crawlspaces with bare 220 volt lines.
Hydrate often and enjoy the weekend.

No worries, just go with your instincts. I am cooking this weekend for my Step-Daughter's open house (I know it is a little late for that - long story). So I know what you are going through.

Don't worry about it! 95% of the people out there think that BBQ from a big chain is great BBQ. Just wait till they see what food cooked by someone who truly loves the art, is like. Most of them will end up by the pit (when they ain't jammin') wanting to see how the heck you did that!
You are going to be the hit of the party!

Just make sure they don't open the dang door LOL!!!
