UDS mods
I thought it would be fun and interesting to see a list of the mods that have been done from the basic UDS. Gotta be several dozen of them doesn't there? It will/should/could give future drumheads some ideas for their drums.
I know I used some other brethrens mods (Norcoredneck & N8Man for sure) but I think the ones of mine were; 1. cut the bottom out and use a stand so I could get to the ash pan 2. use a donor drum for a lid 3. brick paint job (if that counts as a mod) 4. bracket and 12" temp gauge at grate level 5. exhaust vent to get keep smoke out of my Q shack

I like the bail on the charcoal basket and I'm going to make a clip like N8man did. Here are my mods so far. I have a pair of folding BGE tables I'm thinking about mounting on the drums....
Holder for thermometer with a magnet for holding plugs. Clip for hanging lid Ash scooper Wiggle Rod Mini Ring Rack for hanging stuff

Kettle Flange Mod - allows use of Weber lid or removed for drum lid on open or closed drums
Lid hangers Vent plug handles Drum Dolly Remote probe grommet made from brass truck tire valve stems. Small charcoal basket insert Weber Rotisserie Mod I could use some side tables on them. I have a few tuning plugs (small holes drilled in the vent plugs) always watching to see what others are doing with their drums!
