Not until a redesign. They need to do something about the wind affecting temp, redirect the grease away from the fire pot & possibly fix ash problems.

I wouldn’t touch a Weber SF with a 100 ft. pole at this point. If you’re selling your Shirley and have the $$, I highly recommend taking a look at MAK Grills. Buy once, cry once :)

I had faith in Weber and was willing to wait for version 2 until I saw that twitter post over the weekend where Weber’s head chef belittled the customers who were having problems and used his 6 year old daughter to do it.

Based on everything I've seen I’d love a MAC 2 star general but really can’t justifying spending about $3k to get one. Last night I was looking at stick burners which is something I’ve always wanted to try.
