I'm completely clueless in this thread but I will say you could put bbq sauce on microwaved green beans and call it BBQ. Doesn't make it true, though perception, regardless of the situation, equals reality.

Since this looks like such fun, I'm gonna enlighten you all. You're all wrong!
BBQ is the cheapest, nastiest sausages (think sawdust, grease, and the scrapings off the abbatoir floor jammed into a plastic tube), burnt to a cinder on a GAS hotplate. Loaded onto a stale slice of white bread, lathered with margarine and washed down with tomato sauce (think ketchup, but made with TOMATOES). Drink lots of beer, REAL beer, no hops flavour, lots of bitterness and a smidge of alcohol with an odd lack of any body. TADAAH, a proper BBQ. ps, bring your own flies, crocodiles are optional. :) |

Today w'ere gonna smoke some captain crunch..... Today we're gonna make a slim jim casserole... but you're gonna need a can of cheese whizz and a can of bean dip between each row of 40 slim jims... My stomach was priceless...
