Here is a link to the Facebook page. It took a few tries to find it since 'throw down' is two words on FB

Good luck with the event! We'll be on vacation that weekend so we aren't available.

If anyone needs an application or just has some questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. This is our first year so we don't have a fancy website yet, but we will for next year. That way we can have all the forms and everything online.

The registration deadline was today, but we still have a few spots left so I am extending it to July 18th. We are not a sanctioned event, but do have certified KCBS judges. Next year we plan to become sanctioned.

Thanks to everyone that has already signed up. This is also a charity event and we are trying to raise between 8-10k for Illinois CancerCare Foundation.

KEMPIS,

Today was the last day for you to register. Sorry. Don't listen to the post above! Just send a hefty donation - whatever money you would spend on the comp to the charity.
Really, it's too late to register. Sorry.

I was gonna send you the forms, but I see Ryan has his email above. You gonna enter the People's Choice? Be sure to fill out the health dept form, but you don't have to send money to the HD. (This is true, not B.S.ing you here). The HD cost is part of the entry fee.

Ryan, I hope you get all 20 teams...not that I want more competition, but I want you to raise as much money for Illinois CancerCare Foundation.

HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!
What, I make you nervous Pastor??????

I've gotta clear this with the wife. I just saw this today. I don't know how I could do the PC running solo and this being my first ever comp. I'd like to help with the cause, but are you gonna be able to serve PC pork and still be ready for turn ins? Sounds rough.

Kempis, you make me nervous for a LOT of reasons :)

The PC pulled pork is turned in first. It can be done. My son, Drew, said he'd help you in anyway he can. He's a good helper. I don't know if I'll have any other helpers there, but I know you can do it IF I can.

Sounds rough? You're not gonna let that stop you are you, ya jackwagon!

If you can do it, maybe Ryan (or whoever) can put us close to each other - Drew really will help without shigging.
