It was a bad joke. Joking aside, there is an old man in his 90's goes to a diner near me every day, orders 2 eggs, buttered toast, home fries and bacon. And he smokes 2 packs of pal mall unfiltered a day. Go figure.

^^^ Yup my mom 93 years young, has crispy bacon every morning with her buttered toast and eggs, pancake or waffle with butter of course. Thankfully the only prescription med she is on is a thyroid pill she has been on well before I came around.

This sounds delicious.
Blanched, and depending on size, halved.

Recipe for the glaze:

4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2/3 cup bourbon
Heat, stir, and glaze away!
