I’ve looked and looked at these. They were plentiful in the $185 range within last year or so. I’m really enjoying all the space on my patio with my current line up. Old Smokey is on probation for aggravated assault. There is something about a drum smoker that has a coolness factor matched by the great tasting food they produce. And those wheels. Damn

Got one last November for $99 when Wal-Mart was clearing out floor space for Christmas stuff. You're gonna love it. So far I've smoked a couple briskets, numerous ribs, a couple turkeys, dozens of wings and a few chickens on it. It's a great cooker for the price and the ability to maintain a steady temp is very good.

Like you I started on a Weber Kettle and this is so much easier. If I used it for nothing but ribs I'd be more than happy with it. Only regret is I didn't get two of them.

That's awesome! exact deal I got! I'm cooking my first cook tomorrow. I'm gonna start with chicken. I wanna get a comparison to chicken in the PBC as I think the PBC is unbeatable when it comes to chicken. At least as far as my tastes are concerned.

Congrats!

Congrats! I scored one on clearance at Wally World last year for $124. I love it. It's a solid cooker for sure. Just did a couple of chickens on it this past weekend...

Congrats!!

There are a couple available around here and I’m not certain I can resist.

Although I have a PBC, I am becoming increasingly disenchanted with it because the temp continually rises during a cook and I have to use a welding glove over a closed intake to keep temps manageable.
