Default New kid on the block

Just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to the forum. I'm ooking forward to future tips, suggestions and critiques.

As far as my smoker goes, I asked for a smoker last year for Christmas, and I got one, but I guess I wasnt very specific in what I was looking for. So I was gifted with the Brinkmann Gourmet Electric, not exactly what I wanted, but it has put out some decent pieces of meat so for and I do appreciate the convenience of the 'set-it-and-leave-it' of the electric element.

Welcome! A lot of people have started with those little Brinkmann's, so you should be able to get some great advice here.
