yes it is! I did my first quick butt a couple weeks ago using my kettle...cooked at 350 for 5 hours. Came out excellent.
6 # Butt only took 3 1/2 hours to hit 195* cooking at 350+ degrees. Wrapped and coolered for 1 hour and then pulled. Came out perfect. Time for Sammies and football!
