Wink Pig on the Pond (Clermont, FL) roll call and Results

March 10-11, 2006 Pig on the Pond Clermont, FL (FBA)

I had no chance of getting in this contest as of two months ago.
This contest sells out the year prior to the event.

Late this afternoon I got THE call and with out going into details it looks like Smokin’ Cracker BBQ Team will be at Pig on the Pond.

Just woke up from a nap.
Jim Beam hung out with me last night so I stayed in Clermont.
I got home about 9:30 this morning.

Held 215deg from 8PM-till 5AM with no effort.
re-loaded it at 5:15 and cranked it up to 250deg

It finally dropped under 200 at about 5pm just before the awards

I used 3/4 of a 20lb bag of Kingsford (old) and about 8 chunks of Hickory & Apple & peach all weekend. NICE!
