Default Lets see some photos of good handles on heavy duty pits.

Looking to finish my pit soon, and handles are holding me back a little. Lets see some nice custom handles. inside, and out would be helpful.

Don't have any pics but we have a supermarket near here that has a smoker out front. It has handles made out of hatchets with wooden handles and the blades are welded to the doors at an angle. I think it looks cool and like the look of it.

Sorry with the no pics but I saw a guy who took a deer shed and cut the antlers into handles to put on an old Okie Joe. Thought it was pretty cool..

Ok lets see if this works, if so I apologize for the quality of the pic, I was leaving the store and lugging a couple bags of goods. I forgot about the hatchets use as stops on the top.

What is that painted with? Is your pit insulated or is that high temp paint?
