Default Engelbrecht Grills

Brethren

I've search the site and there does not seem to be a whole lot of information on/following for Engelbrecht grills.

They seem pretty versatile to me with the offset fire box, ability to use wood or charcoal either in the firebox or grill, the adjustable height grate...

I know they are pricey but seem to be a quality product.

What am I missing?

I have a 18.5 WSM and a PBC and was thinking this would be a solid addition.

Your insights are much appreciated.

Well, I for one never heard of them until you posted, but I have to say, I like their Braten Campfire Grill!!!

In fact, for $259.00 and a 24" x 30" grate size, it seems like a no brainer to me and it's going on my wish list. Heck, I'd build a fire pit just to have for this.

Guerry, Cowgirl's firepit and this campfire grill gave me the inspiration for my build. You would really like one, great for tri tip & spatchcocked birds.

I've had my eye on this for awhile myself. Was thinking of building a cinder block pit/base with this on top. Funny this topic came up because I was just looking at Santa Maria grills.

My brother in law told me about these about a year ago. They look really cool and well built.

Yes but I was thinking it was a product placement bs as they don't seem to get mentioned much...if at all.

Yes, I saw that also. Meathead however recommend a Hasty-Bake over the Engelbrecht for my situation...primarily direct grilling with the option of using it as an offset/smoker for the price point.

Me too. When he told me this was what he wanted, I had no idea what he was talking about. After I looked them up, I was certainly intrigued, but I spend a lot of time on here and other bbq sites, and had never heard of them. In case they are reading this, I would be glad to try on out and get the word out to the BBQ community
