Nope. You will have a salty marinade that will make u pucker says the voice of experience and he who wrecked a tri-tip with a salty marinade.

Interesting that you chose a tri-tip to brine. I've never heard of anyone brining beef before. Have you done this successfully?
Did brining the beef turn it into something nasty....Or..was it the combination of the brine and a marinade?
