Grey is soot. Same thing happened on my biscuit test. We put them in too early. You have to make sure exhaust smells clean before food goes in.

Been Running 6 hrs but I did toss a cpl New Big Wood Chunks into Burn Box at same Time....... Greyish Ones Taste the Same as others........

Have a friend or Brethren in an Academy State Hound the Manager for Ya - then take a roadtrip........ I drove 7 hrs each way for mines......16 hr Day Total...........

Closest Academy Sports is 5.5 hrs south of Detroit. South of Indy.
