A couple quick pork belly shots

I smoked a 2 pound slab of pork belly the other day, then cut it into pieces, grilled it and served with green beans.. yum! The rub was nothing but salt and pepper.

Smoke it first. I just grilled it to add a bit of crispiness to the outside.
 
I gotta find me some pork belly....if nothing more than trying that.....and makin bacon of course :-D
 
I smoked a 6lber last month, I couldn't believe how overly rich it was. I can put down a rack and a half of ribs easy, but I could only manage a couple pieces of the belly.
