i use store bought steak rub, some folks swear against it but i'm ok with that. texjoy steak seasoning and montreal steak seasoning are both excellent!!! ....just use moderately.

Southern Flavor Charbroil Seasoning works well.
Todd's Dirt is good. So is Lawhorn's Signature Seasoning. Can't go wrong with salt and pepper either.

Roasted garlic is the ticket.
Take garlic head and cut just the tip off of each clove. Lay head on sheet of foil, pour 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1/2 tsp sea salt over garlic, close foil and roast for an hour. Remove roasted garlic from husk and apply liberally to your ribeye. Season with ground sea salt, ground pepper and 1 tsp dry rosemary and slap it on the grill. I usually soak the steak in Jack Daniels overnight but thats personal preference. Ilike it medium well. |

granulated garlic, kosher salt & cracked pepper. Drizzle on clarified butter after removing from grill & resting five minutes.
