Default Et-732 thinks it is 230 degrees. (In my house)

I just replaced the batteries in my Maverick and it now thinks it is over 200 in my house. Anyone seen this before? Fixes? Need to get these ribs on the smoker.

Go 49ers.

I'd suggest turning the thermostat down a bit, or you won't be able to afford your energy bill.

I had a feeling it might be the probe. Crappers. Guess I will have to use the dome thermo.

Try other batteries. I had a batch of Duracells that were all over the map voltage wise. If your Thermo worked before replacing the batteries, I can't see how the probe could suddenly go bad.

I agree with the probe. Did you get it wet?

Yes it did go thru about 20 minutes of a rain storm before it was rescued.

Where is the best place to get a replacement?

I've been through a pair of probes for mine, too.

$19 each to replace at my local grill store.
