Craig got his new smoke coat......He gets broke in tomorrow!
I was messing with the vents etc and trying to figure out temp setting. It responded very quickly to the smallest vent adjustments. I likey this new pit. He was baptised with pecan and plum trimmings...
My pit assistant(son) was on hand to make sure I didn't screw up....

Sorry brother, you lost me in what you are trying to say. Maybe it's just me.

Craig's my craigslist smoker.........Bandera Clone.
I reconditioned it and today I reseasoned it from within with lots of Pam and sweet blue pecan and plum smoke.
Tomorrow he proves his worth by smoking a couple butts, beef ribs, turkey legs, and pork rib tips among other things.
Sorry, I guess the beers and the great tunes I'm listening to put me in a far out mood when I tried to express myself earlier.
Hope it makes some sense now.

I understand much gooder now:mrgreen:.

Congrats on the rehab and presmoke. Now burn some pork fat!

Don't forget the pics of the finished product.

Ol' Craig looks good now that he's been refurb'ed.

Good luck on the first "real" cook.
