Default uh, double up, uh uh

did 2 butts for the first time. title is a reference of a sir mix-a-lot song if you didnt catch that. i like big butts ...and i can not lie...

17lbs between the both of them. double packs on sale for $0.99/lb last weekend at Safeway. didnt really notice much if any time difference of cooking 1 vs 2. about 11 hrs cook time. unlabeled pork rub from local meatmarket. apple wood

4hrs in.

8hrs in. foiled and back in for 3hrs.

hour of sitting and pulled.

sandwiches and nachos ensued.

I like Pork Butts
and I cannot lie
You other farkers can't deny
when your wife pops in
with an itty bitty grin
and a pork butt in your face
you get sprung!
